WHAT WE BELIEVE

Vision of Breath with Life Ministries believes that the Bible is our lifestyle manual.  To be a Christian is to be Christ-like in how we carry ourselves and treat others.  We serve as intercessors to release God’s supernatural power.

We do not add or take away from the scriptures but seek understanding through prayer, fasting, reading and studying the Word of God.

  • “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”  II Timothy 2:15

  • “I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.  I will delight myself in thy statues: I will not forget thy word.”  Psalm 119:15-16

We believe it is important to share God’s love.

  • “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have no charity, I am nothing.”  I Corinthians 13:2

  • “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is love.”  I John 4:7-8

We believe in the Holy Spirit.

  • “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”  John 14:26

  • “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”  Acts 1:8

We believe that it is very important to attend church services.  We receive and may be that blessing others need when we come together in fellowship.

  • “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”  Matthew 18:20

  • “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”  Hebrews 10:25

We must hear and follow the instructions of biblical teachings.

  • “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”  Romans 12:2

  • “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”  James 1:22

We believe that God is able to restore the broken-hearted and provide healing in the midst of sickness, addictive vices, and self-destructive behavior, be it mental turmoil or acts of physical mutilations.

  • “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”  Isaiah 26:3

  • “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;”  Psalm 103:2-3

We believe in sowing seeds.

  • “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”  Malachi 3:10

  • “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”  Luke 6:38
