Called to minister since the age of 12, Overseer S. D. Carter has spent over two decades working for the Lord as a pastor, a chaplain for several hospice agencies, and a spiritual advisor.  An avid prayer warrior, instilled in her by the example of her mother who called for daily prayer every morning, Overseer Carter firmly believes that the effectual, fervent prayer of the righteous can defeat every plot of the devil. 
 
Overseer Carter encourages everyone to pattern their lives after God’s identity by reading and studying the Bible faithfully.  In her soon to be released book entitled Identity Crisis: Reclaiming the Authority of Our Spirit through God, God gave Overseer Carter the revelation that many people are experiencing an identity crisis in the world today. 

Overseer Carter’s heartfelt desire is to lead people to the truth of what is in them and what is going to be in them when they understand God’s plan for their lives.  Overseer Carter is keenly in tune with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to lead her and guide her in fulfilling the promises of God as the Bible commands. 

As a worship and praise leader, Overseer Carter understands that the right atmosphere allows God’s people to experience His life changing presence.  Overseer Carter’s vision is to call those who are suffering and weighed down with the burdens of their life circumstances into a life of restoration and peace that only faith in Jesus Christ can bring. 

As she shares key biblical instruction on how to be Kingdom-minded, her desire is for people to learn how to receive the Spirit of God as He releases supernatural anointing into the lives of those who seek Him first!
